Army Chaplains' Blog

Archive for March 2010

The Army has 150 chaplains,  they provide spiritual leadership, moral guidance and pastoral support to serving soldiers and their families. These men and women go wherever their units go, anywhere in the world.  Although postings can include the front line, chaplains are non-combatants and so do not carry weapons. They are commissioned as officers and are known as ‘Padre.’

This blog contains the day to day experiences of two Chaplains:  Revd Antony Feltham-White and Revd Tracey Bateson.
